El espíritu de esta ginebra queda reflejado en su propio nombre, "Mare", cuya traducción del latín es "mar" y que en otras lenguas adquiere un significado maternal. Cabe recordar el concepto "Mare Nostrum", el mar de todas las comunidades que viven bajo la influencia mediterránea, el mar que une el amor por la gastronomía, el agradable clima, y un estilo de vida con valores propios, donde el tiempo discurre de distinta manera del resto del mundo.
