Español [ ES ] Aunque es una ginebra muy reciente, se comenzó a fabricar en el año 2010 en Doune (Escocia), su receta se remonta a 1658, cuando el profesor Frank de la Boë empezó a experimentar con diferentes botánicos, en un proceso en que los mezclaba con el vapor del aguardiente de grano. Dicho proceso fue patentado y se convirtió en la receta "de la Boë". Se trata de una ginebra escocesa de 47º alc./vol, obtenida por doble destilación mas una tercera con vaporización del alcohol en el que se han macerado los componentes botánicos en alambique de cobre Caterhead. Los 13 botánicos utilizados son: bayas de enebro, cilantro, raíz de angélica, jengibre, raíz de Iris, canela, piel de naranja, cardamomo, regaliz, almendras, pimienta, semillas del paraíso y piel de limón.
