Los valores ligados a la tierra y sus raíces, un amor en racimos que luego se convierte en vino gracias a la pasión. La bodega Angiuli Donato se creó en 1880; es una historia familiar que hasta el día de hoy continúa. La empresa, ubicada en Adelfia, en el corazón del área vitivinícola de producción de la primitiva DOP Gioia del Colle, está dirigida hoy por Donato Angiuli con la colaboración de sus hijos Vito y Giuseppe. Como viticultores, su filosofía, desde 1880 hasta hoy, se ha mantenido sin cambios: El territorio tiene que ser respetado; de ahí el deseo de cultivar vides autóctonas que se combinen bien con la naturaleza del suelo y el microclima. Para los vinos de nicho de su bodega, Donato Angiuli creó la marca "Maccone", a partir del nombre artístico de la primera bodega de la bodega Angiuli, un hombre de gran personalidad, profesionalidad y fama en el sector agrícola local. Los vinos de esta línea provienen de uvas de plantas antiguas de Alberello, con una edad promedio entre 50 y 80 años, que producen muy pocos racimos por vid, intensificando y aumentando considerablemente la calidad del producto terminado. La pasión y la creatividad llevaron a la producción del espumoso ancestral Brut, fermentado en la botella sin la adición de levaduras y azúcares, único en la escena internacional del vino.

Puglia IGT es una denominación regional para la región de Puglia en el sur de Italia. Desde su introducción en noviembre de 1995, se ha convertido en una de las 120 IGT, (Indicazione Geografica Tipica), más ampliamente utilizada de Italia, y por lo tanto, una de las denominaciones de vino más importantes del país. Se enumeraron más de 50 variedades de uva cuando las leyes de producción se actualizaron en 2013, creando una división uniforme entre las variedades rojas y blancas. Puglia IGT.
