Treinta hectáreas de viñedo en Sicilia Agrigentina, organismo único de diez microáreas, propiedad fusionada de cincuenta hectáreas en Campobello di Licata. Suelo profundo, caliza mixta y calcárea, con colinas, entre 230 y 270 metros sobre el nivel del mar y 8,000 metros de la costa. Los viñedos están constituidos con 5,000 plantas por hectárea, todas cosechadas a mano, en pequeñas cajas. Asume la importancia del color blanco de los orígenes, el estado de todas las cosas posibles, el devenir, la pureza original, la totalidad de los colores, el suelo calcáreo del Cristo de Campobello.
La bodega.
Baglio del Cristo di Campobello es una joven bodega de la provincia de Agrigento, en Sicilia, pero activa en el cultivo de la viña desde hace algunas generaciones. La empresa no se convirtió a la viticultura de calidad hasta la década del 2000, abandonando de este modo la venta de sus uvas a terceros como hacen muchos otros agricultores en esa zona de Sicilia. Esta nueva apuesta la llevó a cabo Riccardo Cotarella, una de las más importantes estrellas del vino italiano e internacional. El resultado es, en definitiva, excepcional. Esta bodega nos deleitan a los que nos gusta el vino, algunas creaciones muy sugerente que describen el territorio siciliano con complejidad y destreza, teniendo en cuenta que es de una calidad muy alta y a un precio muy competitivo. Entre los vinos que elaboran, están: Lalùci, un maravilloso Grillo de gran elegancia y muy apetecible; Lu Patri, un Nero d'Avola de gran singularidad y plenitud, cálido, envolvente, completo; Laudàri, otro clásico de la bodega, un Chardonnay maduro, articulado, aterciopelado, con 4 meses en barrica; y un Syrah, Lusirà, que no defraudará a nadie.

Terre Siciliane es el título IGT regional para Sicilia y sus islas satélite, incluidas las Islas Aelian. Esta denominación geográfica se formó en noviembre de 2011 se extiende sobre un área de 35,389 ha con una producción que supera los 1,263,300 hl. Las variedades blancas que se cultivan en esta región son Fiano, Manzoni Bianzo, Grecanico Dorato, Malvasia, Vernaccia, Pinot Bianco, Grillo y Zibibbo, entre otras. Las principales variedades de uva roja incluyen Barbera, Nocera, Petit Verdot, Frappato, Cabernet, Frappato, Syrah, Malbec, Carignano y Gaglioppo, por nombrar algunas.
Características.
