Elaborando numerosas mezclas consiguió encontrar una que se distinguía del resto de anisados de la época, consistente en un destilado de grano de anís y badiana mezclados con agua desmineralizada, jarabe de azúcar y alcoholes de melaza. Acababa de nacer el Anís Castellana que aun hoy se sigue elaborando a partir de su fórmula original. Se comercializan dos variantes, una dulce de 35º y otra seca, de 45º.
