El color es mucho más brillante que el original No.7, se parece mucho más al color de un whisky joven escocés envejecido de 3 a 5 años. En nariz nos ofrece un robusto aroma de manzanas al horno. Continúa con sensaciones navideñas de canela y frutos secos deshidratados. En el paladar muestra un ligero toque del whisky que rápidamente pasa a estar dominado por el gusto de manzanas asadas, que le proporcionan un toque de dulzura seguido por el gusto de la canela que le da un suave sabor picante y especiado. El final desprende todos los sabores de la manzana pero esta vez no tan dulce sino más agrio.

Hacia finales de la década de 1870, las botellas de vidrio hacían furor, así que Mr. Jack se decidió por una botella estándar redonda con el nombre de la destilería grabado en relieve. Su whiskey era diferente y pensó que la botella donde lo pusiese, también tendría que ser diferente. En 1895 encontró la forma que buscaba cuando un vendedor de la Alton Glass Company le presentó una botella poco común: cuadrada y con el cuello acanalado. Jack Daniel es una destilería de whisky del Tennessee estadounidense, famoso por sus botellas cuadradas y etiqueta negro. La destilería fue fundada por Jack Daniel en 1866 en Lynchburg, Tennessee. Jack compró su negocio en 1895, decidió cambiar la forma redonda de la botella a la plaza que pronto llegará a ser famoso. Proceso de producción.
Hoy en día la destilería tiene cinco alambiques para la producción de diferentes versiones de su whisky. La misma característica es que se filtra a través de una capa de carbón de madera de arce. La dedicación a los detalles que implica la elaboración del whisky comienza con la elaboración de su propio carbón vegetal para suavizarlo. Su whisky no sería lo que es sin la receta de Jack Daniel. Encontró la mezcla perfecta de maíz, centeno y cebada y no la hemos cambiado desde entonces. Entonces dejan el whisky gotear lentamente a través de 10 pies de carbón de arce con azúcar dura para que salga con su suavidad distintiva. Es un proceso costoso y lento, también un poco extravagante. El whisky de Jack Daniel entra en el barril sin color y crudo.
