Todo empezó en 1857 cuando un joven fabricante de licores de Limoges, Paul Bardinet, se interesó por el ron, el destilado del jugo de la caña de azúcar procedente de las islas del Caribe. Paul Bardinet, vió su inmenso potencial y durante años experimentó con el proceso hasta mejorarlo añejando el producto en barricas de roble. De su pasión y dedicación nació Negrita, nuestro ron. Desde ese año, Bardinet a partir de su emblemática marca Negrita, es un símbolo de la tradición 'ronera' en el mundo entero. Pero esa actividad original que tuvo sus inicios en la sabia mezcla, añejamiento y preparación de los rones que llegaban de distintas islas del Caribe, ha dado lugar con el paso del tiempo a un grupo de empresas dedicadas a la elaboración de las principales bebidas espirituosas que existen en la actualidad. Así podemos proponer hoy en día una amplia gama de productos de alta calidad, adaptada a todos los mercados. Las ventas de Negrita superan los 10 millones de botellas anuales, estando presente en 118 países. Es líder indiscutible de su categoría en su mercado de orígen, Francia. En el competitivo mercado español del ron dorado está entre las marcas más consumidas, liderando el segmento retail según datos facilitados por las consultoras habituales.
Trayectoria.
Bardinet está posicionado entre los líderes del mercado español y mundial de bebidas espirituosas. Con el paso del tiempo, Bardinet ha crecido dando lugar a un Grupo de empresas que son referentes en el sector de la elaboración y comercialización de bebidas espirituosas. Su historia empieza en 1895: Edouard Bardinet hijo de Paul Bardinet sigue la tradición «ronera» de su familia y deja Limoges para trasladarse a Bordeaux. En el «Quartier des Chartrons» abre su bodega y se rodea de los mejores especialistas para seguir experimentando y creando las recetas de nuevas bebidas espirituosas que llegan hasta nuestros días. En 1975, para afrontar con garantías el necesario crecimiento de su actividad, Bardinet se muda a unas nuevas instalaciones en Fleurenne a las afueras de Bordeaux donde ocupa una superficie de más de 15 Ha. En 1983 se amplía el portfolio de productos incorporando la distribución de Sir Edward's Scotch Whisky, actualmente nuestra marca emblemática en esta categoría. En 1993 Bardinet se une a La Martiniquaise Grupo líder en Francia en producción y distribución de vinos y espirituosos y, en la actualidad, situado en el top 10 a nivel mundial. Esta alianza, conocida como Grupo LMB, brinda a Bardinet la oportunidad de incrementar su ya fuerte presencia internacional. Presente en Escocia con la planta de Bathgate, cerca de Edinburgh, la única con destilería, añejamiento y embotellado en un mismo recinto, en 2008 el Grupo LMB incorpora la destilería Glen Moray, en Elgin, en el corazón de Speyside. Mientras tanto, Bardinet-España incorpora a su catálogo marcas emblemáticas del sector en España: Bandeira en 1996, Pujol en 2001, Bonet en 2006 y Gecko en 2009. En 2014 Bardinet adquiere Giró Gin, icónica ginebra barcelonesa desde 1930, con el objetivo de consolidar una marca presente en varias generaciones de la sociedad catalana. Gracias al esfuerzo, rigurosidad, capacidad de afrontar los nuevos retos que plantea el mercado, Bardinet ofrece a día de hoy una amplia gama de productos elaborados para satisfacer las demandas del mercado. Se abarcan todas las categorías del sector, desde el ron, el whisky, licores, la ginebra, el vodka, el tequila hasta brandy, porto y cavas. Para ello, cuenta con unas instalaciones que ocupan 24.000 metros cuadrados en su planta ubicada a las afueras de Barcelona, en Gelida. Tiene una plantilla de algo menos de 100 colaboradores y una posición de liderazgo consolidado en el mercado de bebidas espirituosas en España.
