Español [ ES ]Fabricada desde el año 1987 en Cheshire (Inglaterra), es una ginebra Premium, tipo London Dry de 47º alc./vol, obtenida por triple destilación del alcohol de grano, con un proceso único, la infusión al vapor. La infusión se lleva a cabo haciendo pasar el destilado en estado gaseoso entre los botánicos previamente picados para conseguir la absorción de los más delicados aromas. Para este proceso se utilizan alambiques de cobre Carterhead modificados. La receta original data de 1761 y los botánicos utilizados son enebro, corteza de limón, cilantro, regaliz, raíz de casia, raíz de angélica, raíz de lirio, cubeba y granos del paraíso.
La ginebra Bombay Sapphire English Estate es la primera de una serie de ediciones que estarán disponibles por un tiempo limitado. Los alrededores de la destilería Laverstoke Mill situada en Hampshire (Reino Unido) son su fuente de inspiración. Anne Brock, la Master Distiller de la marca, e Ivano Tonutti, el maestro de los botánicos, se han unido para crear y añadir tres nuevos ingredientes a la receta tradicional y equilibrar las notas cítricas: menta poleo, rosa mosqueta y avellanas tostadas. Los tres crecen en los alrededores de la destilería, que ya se caracteriza por la infusión al vapor. La etiqueta de la icónica botella azul esmeralda también tiene un diseño especial inspirado en estos botánicos. |
