Magellan Gin debe su color azul a la presencia de raíz de iris entre sus 11 botánicos. Para su elaboración y tras la fermentación del trigo, se lleva a cabo una triple destilación artesanal, se añaden los 11 botánicos (enebro, clavo, iris, pimienta de Etiopía, regaliz, canela, cardamomo, piel de naranja, casia, coriandro y nuez moscada), y finaliza con una cuarta destilación.
