Su característico sabor procede de la mezcla de los 10 botánicos (piel de naranja y limón, canela, regaliz, raíz de angélica y de orris, coriandro, corteza de canela, bayas de enebro) con la cebada y el agua de manantial de Brecon Beacons. Es destilada 5 veces.
Brecon es una ginebra elaborada en la destilería de Penderyn, una de las más pequeñas del Reino Unido, ubicada en la reserva natural de Brecon Beacons National Park. Se elabora de manera artesanal utilizando uno de los mejores alambiques de columna que existen en la actualidad. No se añaden aromas artificiales a la fórmula, el destilado de grano se infusiona con los 10 botánicos que son los encargados de dotar a la ginebra de toda su riqueza aromática. Cinco veces destilada, se selecciona sólo el corazón de la misma para obtener el resultado más limpio y fiel a la receta. El resultado es una ginebra transparente y aromática, con marcadas notas cítricas y afrutadas, de sensación ligeramente dulce, sabrosa y con gran equilibrio del alcohol en boca. |
