Español [ ES ]Las uvas para KAI fueron seleccionadas de los mejores lotes de nuestro viñedo Max V en el Valle del Aconcagua, que fue plantado con parras de Carmenère en 1992 y 1993. Los viñedos de KAI se ubican en la tercera terraza aluvial del Río Aconcagua, con suelos franco-arcillosos, grava en profundidad (contenido de arcilla varía entre 25% a 40%), un 50% de contenido de piedras, en un terreno bien drenado, cuya gran cercanía con el fresco Océano Pacíco nos permite cultivar un Carmenère de alta concentración, color y textura. Mediante precisas prácticas agrícolas y rendimientos bajos de aproximadamente 1,5 a 2 kilos por planta, se logra una buena cuaja de las uvas y un controlado vigor. Las uvas se cosechan tarde en la temporada a fin de asegurar una buena expresión de madurez y sabores frutales.
