Sandrone Dolcetto 75 cl.
Es una variedad de uva de piel oscura cuyo lugar de origen es la región de Piamonte, esta región cuenta con denominación de origen controlado y garantizado (DOCG) que han sido proporcionadas exclusivamente a la Dolcetto.
Las DOCG más considerables se les atribuye a viñedos ubicados cerca de Dogliani, Diano d'Alba y Ovada mientras que la denominación de origen controlada (DOC) se le ofrece a los vinos italianos como el Dolcetto de Alba, Acqui y Asti. La Dolcetto cuenta con maduración temprana (al contrario de Nebbiolo y Barbera, variedades muy parecidas) y su cultivo a sudo relegado a lugares más de mayor altitud, donde sus parientes podrían tener poblemas de maduración. Al encontrarse en lugares fríos, Dolcetto es favorecida con el clima y terroir y evita una maduración prematura mientras que retiene la acidez necesaria para proporcionar vinos tintos equilibrados. Es similar al vino Nebbiolo, ya que muestra toques de alquitrán es floral y cuenta con pocos taninos, aunque rara vez se mezclan y el color de la bebida es completamente distinto.
La uva Dolcetto es utilizada para elaborar vinos tintos y aunque es originaria de la región de Piamonte, en Italia, ha encontrado un gran destino para su cultivo en Australia y Estados Unidos. Esta variedad de uva es considerada como el pariente pobre de Nebbiolo y Barbera, otras variedades italianas. A pesar de su nombre, el vino Dolcetto es raramente un vino dulce; es más bien un tinto suave y afrutado caracterizado por una acidez baja y equilibrada, que cuenta con baja intensidad aromática y colores que vas desde el rubí profundo hasta el púrpura. Un típico vino Dolcetto es de colores brillantes, cuenta aromas terrosos de almendras y nueces, y en la boca es intenso pero no están preparados para un largo envejecimiento sino que deben ser consumidos jóvenes y podrían almacenarse máximo por cuatro años. Si el actual Dolcetto tiene un sabor notable y notas de cata estupendas, su futuro promete grandes cosas mientras que el responsable tiempo de envejecimiento en barricas de roble le puede dar un impulso en calidad y prestigio.
En las fases de vinificación, solo las prácticas enológicas justas y constantes en la zona son adecuadas para dar a los vinos sus características de calidad peculiares. Las prácticas de vinificación del vino Dolcetto d'Alba DOC incluyen, entre otras cosas, que: El rendimiento máximo de las uvas en el vino Dolcetto d'Alba DOC no debe exceder el 70%; Si se superan estos parámetros dentro del límite del 5%, el excedente no puede tener derecho a DOC. Más allá de estos límites, caduca el derecho a DOC para todo el producto. Bajo ciertas condiciones, los vinos DOC Dolcetto d'Alba pueden reclasificarse en las denominaciones DOC Langhe y Langhe Dolcetto, con la excepción de los vinos producidos con uvas del Comume de Coazzolo, en la provincia de Asti, que, por otro lado, pueden reclasificarse en el Denominaciones DOC Monferrato y Monferrato Dolcetto.El vino Dolcetto d'Alba Superiore DOC debe envejecer durante al menos 12 meses. En la designación de los vinos Dolcetto d'Alba DOC, se puede mencionar el término "Vigna" siempre que sea seguido por el topónimo relativo y que se respeten ciertas prácticas de vinificación. En las etiquetas de cada tipo de vino Dolcetto d'Alba DOC es obligatorio informar el año de producción de las uvas. Posteriormente, para ser embotellados con la denominación D.O.C.G. debe de pasar el análisis y catas del personal autorizado y competente, procediendo a poner el sello gubernamental numerado a través de la tapa o el corcho.
El área geográfica adecuada para la producción del vino DOCG Dolcetto d'Alba se extiende sobre las colinas Albese ubicadas a la derecha del río Tanaro, en un territorio adecuadamente ventilado, brillante y favorable para el desempeño de todas las funciones vegetativas-productivas de los viñedos. El área de producción se encuentra en la provincia de Cuneo e incluye el territorio de los municipios de Alba, Albaretto della Torre, Arguello, Barolo, Benevello, Borgomale, Bosia, Camo, Castiglione Falletto, Castiglione Tinella, Castino, Cossano Belbo, Grinzane Cavour, Lequio Berria, Mango, Monforte d ' Alba, Montelupo Albese, Neviglie, Rocchetta Belbo Rodello, S. Stefano Belbo, Serralunga d'Alba, Sinio, Treiso y Trezzo Tinella. En la provincia de Asti e incluye el territorio del municipio de Coazzolo.
