Español [ ES ]Porta del Vento es la bodega de Marco Sferlazzo en Camporeale, en la provincia de Palermo. Situada a unos seiscientos metros de altitud, la propiedad consta de catorce hectáreas de viñedo que crecen en terrenos empinados y constantemente azotados por el viento. El cultivo ecológico que lleva a cabo la bodega, así como las características del suelo, del microclima y de las cepas, de más de 40 años de edad y con bajos rendimientos, son la mejor carta de presentación de unos vinos salubres y de calidad. La perricone es una vieja uva tinta autóctona de Sicilia y poco extendida. En la actualidad se puede encontrar principalmente en la parte occidental de la isla, como en Camporeale, donde Porta del Vento elabora su Maquè, un vino fresco y equilibrado que revela con gracia las características de este territorio. Maquè Perricone se caracteriza por una nariz un tanto oscura, con aromas de cereza negra y mermelada de ciruela sobre un fondo balsámico, y otras notas de orégano, aceitunas negras, resina y especias como el clavo y la pimienta. En boca muestra una buena estructura, con taninos bien integrados y una adecuada frescura y mineralidad.

Terre Siciliane es el título IGT regional para Sicilia y sus islas satélite, incluidas las Islas Aelian. Esta denominación geográfica se formó en noviembre de 2011 se extiende sobre un área de 35,389 ha con una producción que supera los 1,263,300 hl. Las variedades blancas que se cultivan en esta región son Fiano, Manzoni Bianzo, Grecanico Dorato, Malvasia, Vernaccia, Pinot Bianco, Grillo y Zibibbo, entre otras. Las principales variedades de uva roja incluyen Barbera, Nocera, Petit Verdot, Frappato, Cabernet, Frappato, Syrah, Malbec, Carignano y Gaglioppo, por nombrar algunas.
Características.
Los vinos de la I.G.T. Terre Siciliane tienen unos niveles mínimos de alcohol de 9% para los frizzantes, mientras que para Bianco tranquillo, debería ser del 10.5%. Diferente, de gran personalidad y muy bueno... pero para ser combinado cuidadosamente (marisco, frutas de mate, sopas de verduras, quizás puedas arriesgar con un poco de queso blando). Una hermosa expresión controlado y armonioso.
