Se elabora con caña de azúcar cortada a mano y agua purificada, con el líquido se realiza una doble destilación para crear una bebida limpia y seca. Antes de su embotellado se somete a un triple filtrado de carbono activado para alcanzar una claridad ideal para cócteles. Brugal Extra Dry ha envejecido en barricas de roble blanco americano que previamente ha contenido bourbon, aportando al líquido una sensación aterciopelada y un sabor seco y delicado. Acompañante perfecto de una gran variedad de cócteles, desde los más conocidos, como el Daiquiri o el Mojito, hasta versiones más vanguardistas como el Brugal Dry&Stormy con cerveza de jengibre y zumo de limón; o el Brugal Santo Seco con zumo de limón y refresco de lima limón.
