Español [ ES ]Brugal 1888 es una bebida exquisita que traspasa las fronteras del dominio de la madera y lidera el camino hacia el doble añejamiento. Este ron se elabora de una manera no convencional: una vez ha tenido lugar la doble destilación, se inicia un proceso de cuidada selección de los mejores rones, que se someten a un doble proceso de añejamiento. En una primera etapa, estos rones envejecerán hasta 8 años en barricas de bourbon (roble americano) y, posteriormente, continuarán su añejamiento en barricas de roble europeo que previamente han contenido vinos de Jerez. Otra de las particularidades de Brugal 1888 es la particular disposición de las barricas en las que se envejecen los rones, colocadas en posición horizontal, permitiendo que el líquido esté en contacto permanente con la madera y adquiera así unas características de color, olor y sabor muy específicas. Su color es ambarino oscuro, brillante y limpio. En nariz, su aroma y bouquet son exquisitos; con notas de chocolate, café tostado, canela y frutos secos. Brugal 1888 deja un gusto ligeramente dulce, persistente y un sabor sublime. Degustar 1888 es saborear todas las maravillas que provienen de una dedicación absoluta a la elaboración del ron. Envejecido hasta 8 años en barricas de bourbon de roble americano y, posteriormente, añejado en barricas de roble europeo que previamente han contenido vinos de Jerez.
