Fue el primero de la historia en ser comercializado sin agua añadida, embotellado directamente de la barrica. Esa es la mejor presentación de Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength, un nombre que define en sí mismo un exquisito whisky de Malta: cask (barrica) strength (fuerza o grado alcohólico). Glenfarclas, la última destilería escocesa familiar desde 1865, ha logrado la combinación de tradición, experiencia e innovación. Gracias a los ingredientes y métodos de destilación adecuados, el 105 fue extraído directamente de las barricas de Jerez y exbourbon y se embotelló con el nombre 105 en referencia al viejo sistema británico de prueba del nivel alcohol. Considerado uno de los 5 mejores whiskys de Malta por la revista Wine Enthusiast, es un whisky sin añada, aunque la destilería únicamente elabora whiskys con un mínimo de 8 años. Recomendamos servirlo con unas gotas de agua para abrir en profundidad todos sus aromas.

La destilería Glenfarclas es una destilería de whisky Speyside en Ballindalloch, Escocia. Glenfarclas se traduce como valle de la hierba verde. La destilería es propiedad y está dirigida por la familia Grant. La destilería tiene seis alambiques que son los más grandes en Speyside y se calientan directamente con quemadores de gas. La destilería tiene una capacidad de producción de alrededor de 3,5 millones de litros de alcohol por año. Normalmente, cuatro imágenes fijas se usan para la producción y dos se mantienen en reserva. La destilería tiene aproximadamente 68,000 barriles que maduran en el lugar, en almacenes de estiba tradicionales, con existencias de cada año desde 1953 hasta el año actual.
