El enclave donde hoy se encuentra la bodega, justo en el punto de unión entre la Europa oriental y la occidental, resultó estratégico durante los conflictos bélicos, políticos y étnicos que aquí acontecieron. Esta tierra prácticamente fue abandonada por los locales, que tuvieron que huir de la miseria provocada por la guerra. Livio Felluga realizó un duro trabajo de recuperación de la viticultura, haciéndose con antiguos viñedos y plantando cepas nuevas. Aunó tradición y técnicas modernas que le permitieron elaborar vinos que aún hoy cuentan con una buena reputación no solo en Italia, sino también alrededor del mundo.
Livio Felluga se identifica como la mejor tradición vitivinícola. Una tradición que ha durado cinco generaciones, desde que la familia produjo Refosco y Malvasia en su isla natal de Istria. Hace setenta años, Livio Felluga, quien tiene el gran privilegio de ser considerado el "patriarca" de las vides Friulian, el primogénito de la cuarta generación, transfirió el negocio a Friuli. En la década de 1950 fundó la bodega Brazzano y consagró su amor por la colina al comprar, con buena intuición, los primeros viñedos en Rosazzo. Su carrera hacia el éxito está destinada a perpetuarse ya que tiene plena devoción y absoluta hacia la tierra. Lo vive especialmente, con paciencia y determinación, ha sido capaz de darle forma con mano suave, sin abuso y sin violencia, para obtener lo mejor. Rosazzo es el testimonio de toda esta manera de trabajar y vivir.
