Ocupa la región de Veneto en el noreste de Italia, es una de las denominaciones más utilizadas en el país. Cubre una amplia gama de estilos de vino de Veneto: se podría decir que es la sala de máquinas de la industria del vino de Italia. Los vinos y el clima.

La región del Véneto se puede dividir aproximadamente en tres áreas geográficas, distinguidas por su topografía y geología.
